Matrix Church Saint Pietro Apostolo
It was probabily built in the XVI century as the church of the Palagianello pastoral-agricultural hamlet, the simplicity of its façade, linear and bright, without any decorations, built with local sandstone and  is not different from the houses which enclose it in a square overlooking the big square “A. De Gasperi”. The façade is decorated by a staircase and a bell tower on its right. Its inside structure is developed into a Latin cross, with only one central aisle and two lateral chapels. On the left chapel there is the image of the Madonna delle Grazie, patron of Palagianello.
