Archeological sites

It is situated about two kilometers to the south of Palagianello hamlet, at the cross roads between the S.S.7 Appia and the beginning of the provincial road which goes to the sea, this little church Saint Antonio da Padova was built at the beginning of the 50’s during the period of the Land Reform for the use of the local small landowners. In 1961 it was declared a parish. The church has a simple architecture with one aisle in the same style as the constructions of the assignees of the Reform authority. Inside it is enriched with two altars, the former at the end of the aisle on which a wooden cross dominates, the latter is in a recess where there is the statue of Saint “Antonio da Padova”.
